Choosing
a malpractice insurance policy is one of the first - and most

the needs of early career psychiatrists and provide specialized
services that ease the transition from residency to entering
a practice.
Discounts
are as follows:
- Up
to 60% rate reduction for early career psychiatrists!* Discounts
available for 3 years immediate following:
- First year of practice 60% discount immediately following
completion of residency (50% in NY)
- Second year of practice 40% discount (25% in NY on
claims-made policies)
- Third year of practice 35% discount (25% in NY on claims-made
policies)
In addition to the early career premium discount, if you
are a child and adolescent psychiatrist and meet specific
criteria, you are eligible for a 15% rate reduction.*
Additionally The Program offers the same discounts to psychiatrists
following discharge from active military duty.**
